SINDH: A woman and her four-year-old daughter were sexually assaulted by a gang after being called in on a job offer in the Kashmore area of Sindh.
According to sources, the woman was called in from Karachi for a job but when she reached the place with her four-year-old daughter the culprits gang-raped both mother and daughter.
Sources further disclosed that the woman and her daughter were first gang-raped and then sold off to another criminal where the police recovered them in a sensitive state.
The victims in capricious health state were shifted to hospital for medical treatment sources informed. Hospital sources claimed the girl who also endured ghastly sexual crime and suffered physical injuries fights a deteriorating health condition as the doctors try to save her.
On the other hand, police have reportedly arrested one of the suspects who admitted to raping the mother-daughter duo, while medical reports to ascertain the crime have also confirmed sexual assault.
Police said they have arrested one of the alleged rapists while the hunt is on for others involved in the crime. The arrested suspect has confessed to committing the crime and medical reports, too, have confirmed rape, police said.
Police also disclosed the victim was called in on a job offer as the alleged gang had proposed about Rs 40, 000 to her for work.
Police officials said that a police team conducted a raid to hunt down the suspects who have previously been associated with such sexual crimes.
