More intermittent rains and gusty winds are forecasted for Karachi and parts of Sindh on Thursday and Friday. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal are currently entering the higher regions of Pakistan, supported by a dominant westerly wave in the area.
Under these meteorological conditions, Karachi and the coastal regions of Sindh can expect hazy weather with intermittent light rains. Conversely, other parts of the province will likely experience hot and muggy conditions.
The highest temperature in Karachi is expected to range between 33°C and 35°C on Thursday and between 34°C and 36°C on Friday. Similarly, Hyderabad’s highest temperatures will be between 33°C and 35°C on Thursday and 34°C and 36°C on Friday.
Over the past 24 hours, hot and humid weather prevailed across most parts of Sindh. Sukkur and Mohenjo-Daro were the hottest locations, with maximum temperatures reaching 39°C. In Nawabshah and Dadu, the maximum temperature was recorded at 38°C.
In Karachi, the maximum temperature reached 32°C, with relative humidity in the evening at 72 percent. Hyderabad recorded a maximum temperature of 33°C, with evening relative humidity at 61 percent.
