ISLAMABAD: The body of an 18-year-old boy who went missing mysteriously on Daman-e-Koh road has been recovered from a water tank.
A case has been registered and an investigation has been launched. A rickshaw driver by profession, a boy named Hamza went missing four days ago. Police have registered a case under Section 302 of the IPC and started an investigation.
It is learned that 18-year-old Hamza, a resident of Madina Town New Shakrial Rawalpindi, left his house at 10 pm on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, and mysteriously went missing.
On the fourth day of the disappearance, on August 15, at around 4 pm, his body was found in a water tank on Daman-e-Koh road. According to police sources, the body of the boy was lying face down inside the tank.

Police removed the body from the tank and shifted it to the polyclinic hospital for autopsy. The victim was wearing a black shirt and shalwar.
Police searched the pocket of his shirt and found his phone number written on a piece of paper. When contacted, the number turned out to be that of the victim’s brother.
Police have handed over the body to the next of kin after post-mortem and registered case No. 435/21 Bajram 302 and started investigation.
