Renowned Pakistani actress and host Mishi Khan has raised her voice against the rising trend of ‘leaked videos’ on social media, making a strong appeal to female influencers.
In a recent video statement shared on her social media accounts, Mishi Khan expressed grave concern over the increasing prevalence of such incidents, describing it as a “disturbing” trend.
She underscored the gravity of the matter, saying, “It is heartbreaking to see the growing trend of leaking private videos. Those involved in this vile act will not escape divine justice.”
Mishi Khan urged young women to exercise caution and avoid sharing personal photos or videos with anyone, including their fiancés, warning that such actions often lead to blackmail and, in severe cases, even suicide.
She also shed light on several distressing incidents, including the tragic case of a young woman from Gilgit-Baltistan, as well as other victims who have faced online harassment after their private videos were leaked.
Her message served as a heartfelt plea for women to safeguard themselves against such dangers.
While many fans supported her stance, others shared additional advice, encouraging women to stay vigilant in their online activities.
