LAHORE: The accountability court has extended the judicial remand of Yousuf Abbas, cousin of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz for 14 days in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
Prosecutor for the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) also submitted a report on the submission of a reference against all the accused in the same case.
The court has already granted a conditional immunity to father and daughter, Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz who are also named in the case inquiry along with relative Yousuf Abbas.

The Sharif family has been accused of using Chaudhry Sugar Mill’s case for money-laundering and illegal transfer of its shares.
Accused Yousaf Abbas and Maryam Nawaz were arrested in August by the NAB in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
According to the NAB, transactions worth millions of rupees were made under Chaudhry and Shamim mills.
