KARACHI: With the beginning of the new year, cold winds have set in the Sindh capital, the minimum temperature was recorded at 5 degrees today.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum wind speed is being recorded at 22 km per hour while total wind speed can exceed 50 km per hour.
The south-westerly sea winds are completely inactive in the city. During the current cold wave, the mercury in Karachi may record 5 degrees while rural Sindh may record a minimum of 3 degrees.
Karachi recorded a minimum temperature of 16.5 degrees today. In Karachi, the boundary was affected due to fog this morning, visibility was reduced to one kilometer due to fog.
