Yusuf Khan by profession is associated with the Merchant Navy, but making flues and playing it with great skill is his hobby. MM News arranged a meeting with Yusuf Khan to explore his talent and his story in front of the world.
Yusuf Khan told about this hobby and said that he was fond of listening to songs since childhood, one day his friend came from Punjab, and he was playing “Yeh Mosam Rangeela Sahana” on the flute which he liked very much. The way he was playing flue developed his interest and he asked how to play it.
He said that he asked him to teach more, to which he said that he only know how to play the flute. Khan said he asked him to teach as much as he knows, after which he taught him to play the flute and he started playing it.
After being taught by my friend, Yousuf Khan said he used to go to the forest and play the tunes of various songs on the flute and finally after many attempts he learnt how to play the original tunes of the songs on the flute.
When MM News asked him about making flutes, Yusuf Khan said that after joining the merchant navy, he went to Hyderabad and learned how to make them regularly and today he can prepare small and big flutes of all kinds.
About his hobby, he said that it is a very good hobby, which saves a person from all kinds of defects and is also a good source of livelihood because often a flute player is needed for the background music of plays or films.
