The incident of Karbala has great importance in the history of Islam. On this occasion, Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions had rendered sacrifices of their lives instead of bowing to the tyranny. The role of Zuljanah, your horse, cannot be forgotten in this battle of truth and falsehood.
Every year on the 10th of Muharram, when the incident of Karbala is narrated, the scholars and clerics also mention Zuljanah and its role, while the mourners also prepare Zuljanah with religious fervor and zeal for the procession.
The participation of Zuljanah in the Muharram procession has great importance that is why many people keep a special horse for this purpose and look after it all year. Ghulam Hussain is one of them and despite being a special person he prepares his horse named Badshah as Zuljanah for the procession every year.
While talking to MM News reporter Nigah Muhammad in sign language he said that he design the special chador (cover) for Badshah by copying the designs from social media, particularly from Facebook.
He further said that he buys ornaments and other decoration items for Zuljanah from Karachi and Lahore. He also gave details about the fodder and other necessities of the horse.
