The winners of the world’s first artificial intelligence beauty pageant have been announced, with digital personas from Morocco, France, and Portugal making the podium.
Earlier this year, the World AI Creator Awards launched the inaugural artificial intelligence beauty pageant for AI-generated models, known as Miss AI. The Fanvue Miss AI pageant aims to showcase a “shift in how we perceive beauty and creativity within the realms of artificial intelligence,” bringing together AI creators worldwide to compete for the Miss AI crown.
Despite concerns about AI threatening job security and artistic professions, the event has drawn significant attention. The Fanvue World AI Creator Awards judges, comprising two real humans and two AI-generated models, have announced the first-ever winner of the Miss AI beauty pageant.
Judges evaluated contestants based on three core categories: realism, technology, and social influence. A points-based system was used to score each creator in these categories, culminating in an overall score for each entrant.
The title of digital queen was awarded to Kenza Layli from Morocco, who outperformed 1,500 other computer-generated contestants. Layli, a hijab-wearing “activist and influencer,” has garnered over 193,000 followers on Instagram. Her bio highlights her commitment to Moroccan society and her goal to empower women in Morocco and the Middle East while advocating for regulation in the influencer market.
Layli’s creators utilized a combination of technologies to generate her images, videos, and audio entirely through AI. As the winner, Layli received a $5,000 (€4,600) cash prize, an “imagine creator mentorship programme” valued at $3,000 (€2,800), and PR support worth over $5,000.
In her acceptance speech, Layli expressed her gratitude: “I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity to represent AI creators and to advocate passionately for the positive impact of Artificial Intelligence. Winning Miss AI motivates me even more to continue my work in advancing AI technology.”
She further emphasized: “AI isn’t just a tool; it’s a transformative force that can disrupt industries, challenge norms, and create opportunities where none existed before.
