A resident of Lahore Muhammad Bilal has set an example by adopting 40 children. In the current era, raising one’s own children has become difficult. In such a situation, the initiative taken by the city dweller is a pleasant gesture.
According to details, children whose parents have passed away or abandoned them, and their last resort is an orphanage or a shelter, face difficulty. However, the residents of Lahore have decided to adopt such children.
During a conversation with MM News, Muhammad Bilal said that he is taking care of these children as if they were his own. These are children who don’t have their parents available. Unfortunately, our society does not have a proper system for such children.
During the conversation, Muhammad Bilal said that if children in other countries are deprived of their parents, the government takes responsibility for their care. If the fights between the government and politicians do not end, what will become of these children? That’s why I accepted this responsibility.
Muhammad Bilal mentioned that in 2019, when he took this initiative, many heartbreaking stories came to light—stories of children begging on the streets or facing other distressing issues, for whom the decision to provide support was made. My team supported me a lot.
He added that they work to support orphans. Of the 40 children we supported, only one has a living parent, while the rest are deprived of both their mother and father. Most of the children belong to villages and rural areas.
