Pakistan has enormous talent specially when it comes to cricket, the game, the nation loves the most. Today we are letting you to meet dashing right handed U-19 player Haroon Arshad, who has dreams to do something special for Pakistan.

MM News: When did you start playing cricket?
Haroon Arshad: I started playing cricket in 2010 and played in U13 from Karachi. After that I played in U16 from Sindh and remained top scorer of the tournament. And then I played U19.
MM News: Bowlers now a days are too pacy, what should openers do?
Haroon Arshad: As an opener, the batsman has to be confidence and should play the bowlers on the merit without any fear. Practice makes the batter to face the bowler who is bowling at 150kph.
MM News: Tell us about your daily routine.
Haroon Arshad: I use to come at Bakhtiar Cricket Academy at 3pm and start running to improve my fitness. Later I use to play 200 to 300 bowlers in practice nets and do gyming in the night.
MM News: Who is your favourite player?
Haroon Arshad: Well.. my favourite batsman is Virat Kohli… though he is not an opening batsman, but I like his playing style and the aggression on the field.
MM News: Which of Kohli’s shot you like the most?
Haroon Arshad: The way Kohli’s punches the good length ball straight is the favourite shot of mine. It feels good when he plays and makes runs.
MM News: Your favourite team in PSL?
Haroon Arshad: Yes I follow Pakistan Super League and my favourite team is Karachi Kings. The match Lahore and Karachi is like a match between India and Pakistan. This season of PSL will be a cracker and we are looking forward to it.
MM News: As an opener which bowlers bothers you the most?
Haroon Arshad: I don’t fear playing fast bowlers, but spinners make me uneasy bit. I’m working on it, Insha Allah, this weakness will also be addressed.
MM News: Which format of cricket is your favorite?
Haroon Arshad: I like playing tests and one days. I will try to debut in these formats for Pakistan, Insha Allah. After then will focus on T20s.
