ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari has appreciated Deputy Commissioner Islamabad’s work under difficult conditions due to the coronavirus.
In a tweet, Dr. Shireen Mazari wrote that apart from our amazing doctors, nurses and all the folk including police and military, who are in the frontline of the war against COVID 19, the good work is being done by the Islamabad DC and his teams.

Earlier on Friday, Shireen Mazari lamented that permission given to PIA for special flights to two countries has been suspended due to the COVID-19. She shared the news on twitter in which she wrote, “Sadly due to sharp spike of COVID 19 cases in the UK and Canada GOP has now withdrawn permission given to PIA for special flights to these 2 countries.”
Earlier she announced that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was planning to operate 6 special flights to take stranded UK citizens back to the UK beginning from 27th March i.e. today which has been postponed.
