Model turned host Mathira has just schooled a Tikoker named Asad Ray for glamorizing domestic abuse against wife in a TV show.
It all started during a show which is hosted by Mathira who invited the TikToker in her show who earned popularity through her lip-syncing videos. He has 7.5 million TikTok followers. Asad Ray is also on YouTube now.
During the show, Mathira asked him a question that if he had fought with someone. To which, he jokingly said, “Fight with whom? I live with my wife, with wife? Yes, I just came here after beating her.”
This statement of Asad was instantly caught by Mathira and she cross-questioned him on an extremely controversial statement about beating his wife.
She schooled him and said that she hates such men and it is not a joke, it doesn’t sound good and this kind of statement should not be given and such acts are heinous acts, she said, “Your words were too bad, it’s not a joke.”
Asad Ray also clarified his statement after being scolded by Mathira, and said, “I told you before that I respect my wife, you are an educated lady you must be right about my words.” He added that he barely passed his matriculation exams that too with cheating.

Mathira was born into a Muslim family in Harare, Zimbabwe to a South African father and a Pakistani mother. Her sister Rose Muhammad is also an actress.
She was educated in Zimbabwe before moving to Pakistan with her family amid unrest in Zimbabwe. She made her debut in music videos of Jadugar, Desi Beat and ‘Nachdi Kamal’ by Malkoo and Woh Kaun Thi by Rizwan-ul-Haq, and ‘Jotha Tu Hai’ by Arbaz Khan. In March 2011, she got a chance to host a late-night programme Love Indicator on Vibe TV.
