SIALKOT: Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan will deport PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz.
Talking to media after visiting Mazar-e-Iqbal along with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that women need to be empowered in the economic field.
She said that by advancing the philosophy of Iqbal, we can get out of the mire of corruption and we have to understand the real philosophy of the Poet of the East.
“Maryam Nawaz is spewing venom against us in meetings and using language against institutions, but we stand with our institutions, national dignity, and identity,” the special assistant said.

She said that if Maryam Nawaz corrected her attitude, Ali Amin Gandapur would not have to make such a statement. “The people of Gilgit-Baltistan themselves will deport her,” she claimed.
Awan said that Allama Iqbal had dreamt of a separate state for Muslims. He instilled a revolutionary spirit in the new generation and highlighted the greatness of Islam.
She said that today is the day of renewal and we need guidance from the words of the poet of the East while according to the thinking of Allama Iqbal, Usman Buzdar is engaged in the service of the people and Prime Minister Imran Khan is following the philosophy of Allama Iqbal, she added.
