SWITZERLAND: Founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg has advised all the countries in the world to adopt the new regulatory systems for social media.
Speaking during a three-day security conference, Mark Zuckerberg said that the appropriate rules for governments of a country should be introduced to play a role in preventing the spread of hateful and inaccurate content.
Zuckerberg further said that what kind of content should go ahead or what kind of speech should be spread was not the job of other social websites, including Facebook.
He has made it clear that Facebook believed in the freedom of expression, but governments must play a role in preventing the spread of false information and the online transmission of hateful content.
Although Zuckerberg suggested governments around the world should bring in social media regulatory systems.
