Famous fashion designer Maria Butt – aka Maria B – has criticized drama serial ‘Sar-e-Rah’ for the alleged promotion of ‘gender-fluidity’ in Pakistan.
Taking to Instagram, the designer showed her disapproval about a scene from the drama which touched upon the subject of acceptance and the realities of parenthood.

However, ARY Digital’s Sar-e-Rah has been receiving a lot of praise for breaking stereotypes in Pakistan. Sar-e-Rah drama is unfolding the dark realities of our society where women are subjugated and looked down upon. Saba Qamar is in the lead and is doing wonders with her role as a female taxi driver in a misogynist society.
