RAWALPINDI: A man shot dead his wife and two minor daughters in Sadar Wah are of Taxila and fled from his home after the incident.
Sub-divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Taxila Tahir Kazmi, Station House Officer (SHO) Sadarwah and a police contingent reached the site of the incident.
Tahir Kazmi said that suspect Sadiq Shah opened fire and killed his wife Ghazala, aged 40, and his two daughters Annie, aged 13, and Zarwah, aged eight.
Police said the victim Ghazala was a school teacher while the suspect was unemployed. He was also an absconder in a murder case in Charsadda registered three years ago. Efforts are being made to arrest him.
In another incident, a man shot dead his wife in Bahria Town within the limits of Rawat police station. Police said the Niaz killed his wife Kanwal and fled.
