RAWALPINDI: The district police have arrested a man abusing a 7-year-old boy in Rawalpindi’s Charsadda Tangi. However, another accomplice fled away from the scene.
According to details, the police team headed by SP Investigation Iftikhar Shah comprising DSP Tangi Khalid Khan, and SHO Masood Khan took the action upon receiving information.
DPO Charsadda Muhammad Shoaib Khan informed that the arrested accused Mudassir has confessed to his crime. “A special team has been formed to arrest the second accused,” he added.
DPO Charsadda informed that a case has been registered against the accused Akhtar Ali and Mudassir at Tangi police station on the complaint of the victim’s father.
Earlier on August 13, the district police arrested a man who was accused of raping a 14-year-old girl in Walwal village of Rawalpindi.
Within the limits of Chontra police station, the accused was arrested after 12 hours of the incident. The accused named Khawar Alias Mitho, a resident of Mandowal village raped a 14-year-old girl yesterday and later ran away.
When the victim’s father registered a case in the concerned police station, the police immediately took the victim for medical treatment and registered a case under section 376 against the accused.
