SWABI: The district police have arrested a man for killing two people over domestic police and recovered weapons, according to the police spokesperson.
According to details, an exchange of fire took place between two families over a family dispute, in which two people were killed by the suspect, identified as Zul Jameel.
In this regard, DPO Swabi took action on the incident and a heavy contingent of police under the supervision of DSP Swabi Shaukat Khan immediately rushed to the spot, prevented further bloodshed and arrested the accused Zul Jameel.
Earlier in November, a man allegedly killed his former wife in Swabi’s Baja village with the help of his two sons. Ibrar Khan of Baja village had divorced Raif Begum over differences a few months after marriage around four years ago.
The woman married Said Afzal of Kotha village soon after divorce to the anger of her first husband and sons Fawad Khan and Azam Khan. Ibrar Khan and his sons opened fire at Raif Begum as she visited the Musakhel area. The woman died of critical injuries on the spot.
