Actress Mahira Khan has recently spilled the beans of the bonding she shares with her former in-laws.
In a recent interview, Mahira Khan opened up about the kind of relationship she shares with the family of her ex-husband. The Superstar actress was previously married to Ali Askari but unfortunately, the couple parted ways in 2015 and ended their eight-year marriage. The couple has a son named Azlaan.
“The fact that his father and his family and my family, we are Mashallah on the same page when it comes to Azlaan. And even when it comes to me, whenever my interview airs, Azlaan’s grandfather calls me. I am very close to them even now. I am grown up in their house.” said Mahira.
According to Khan, it takes work. “It takes swallowing your pride at times and trying to understand other people and then for your child’s sake, you do it,” she maintained.

Khan added, “If you are lucky that people from both sides are good and they are looking at child’s wellbeing and true happiness then they will work for it.” Mahira further added.
Mahira Khan, who also starred in the ISPR drama ‘Aik Hai Nigar’ as the titular character, and is currently on TV as Mehreen in the highly popular yet equally controversial ‘Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay’.
