Madrassa students left dozens of colleges and universities behind as they showcased their exceptional skills at the 19th National Engineering Robotics Contest (NERC) held at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
The event, which is a partnership between NUST and the STEM Careers Programme from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, intends to advance robotics study there.
Between July 11 and 15, participants from schools, colleges, and universities all over Pakistan competed in the much awaited tournament in an effort to win top prizes in the automation and robotics categories. Madrassa Jamia Baitussalam, one of the competitors, stood out and excelled, winning praise and acclaim.

The organisation behind Jamia Baitussalam, Baitussalam Welfare Trust, expressed thankfulness in a tweet by praising God for their team’s outstanding performance in the National Robotics Contest and thanking Him in great measure.
After having triumphed in multiple competitions in the past, NERC served as the final pinnacle of achievement for the institute. The students dedicated their time and efforts tirelessly to this grand event. Jamia Baitussalam secured the 1st position in the Modular School category and attained both the 1st and 2nd positions in the Ready to Race category.
