Renowned actress Madiha Imam has revealed that her hearing in one ear was affected due to a slap during the shooting of a drama. Actor Faisal Qureshi has confirmed this incident.
According to details, during a recent appearance on a private TV show on Eid, Madiha Imam stated, “I experience partial hearing loss in one ear.” Senior actor Faisal Qureshi, who was present at the show, added, “I know about this, and it is true.”
During the conversation, Faisal Qureshi mentioned that this incident occurred on a set. Madiha Imam clarified that she is not completely deaf but added, “You will have to speak a little louder when talking to me.”

The actress explained that the situation on set led to this incident. A fellow actor slapped her, which impacted her ear, resulting in reduced hearing. She further remarked, “People think actors work in comfort and ease, but that’s not the case.”
Madiha Imam emphasized that acting is not an easy job. Host Rabia Anum then asked whether she had forgiven the person who slapped her. Madiha replied, “Of course, who would do this intentionally? It happened by mistake, so I forgave them.”
At this point, actor Faisal Qureshi shared that he had also received a strong slap from actress Saba Qamar some time ago. He explained that while actresses might accidentally slap their co-actors, male actors have heavier hands, so female actresses are usually not hit for real; instead, it is only shown that a slap was delivered.
