KARACHI: Federal Minister for Planning Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar said he has made the progress with Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan.
In this regard, Asad Umar met with a delegation of MQM-P in Islamabad earlier on Thursday. Moreover, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar and MQM-P’s Faisal Sabzwari were also present.
Talking to the media persons after the meeting, Asad Umar said the meeting took place in a very cordial atmosphere and discussions were already underway between the leaders.
Imran Ismail also claimed that MQM-P would soon make its way back to Federal Cabinet. Most of the MQM-P matters have been resolved and some matters were still under consideration, he added.
He further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had directed them to put the pace of meetings and discussions with MQM-P on a fast track.
He added, “We have very good communication with MQM-P, we meet daily.”
