Inter Miami could make a move for Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric, according to Croatia-based newspaper the Dubrovnik Times.
According to reports, club co-owner David Beckham is eager to sign the Croatian international so that he may play alongside Lionel Messi for his team.
Despite having a new contract that keeps him at the Santiago Bernabeu until next summer, Modric has only made one start in LaLiga this year due to fierce competition for playing time in the center of the pitch. According to reports, manager Carlo Ancelotti may be willing to let Modric go in January if he receives a bid from an MLS team.
Inter Miami, having also added former Barcelona stars Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, have also been linked with former Blaugrana and now Gremio forward Luis Suárez, who has previously been reported to be allowed to leave the Brazilian Serie A side at the end of the league campaign.
