Richa Chadha has opened up about her interfaith marriage with Ali Fazal.
Recently, the Heeramandi actress talked about interfaith marriage with her husband Ali Fazal during an interview with Galatta India and reflected about her dating time with Ali.
The Fukrey 3 actress revealed that she never wanted her parents to find out about her dating time with Ali. She remarked, “I didn’t want my family to find out from the press. you know, we also have families. When I was ready to discuss this at home with my family, then I thought I will just come out.”
Talking about getting married to someone having different religion, Richa reflected on her thoughts and explained that until you have your family by your side than its pointless.
The actress said, “And like I said, a human being is a human being first and when you go and fall in love, your search has no filters on. When you fall in love, that’s what it is.”
Richa and Ali recently, who are expecting their first baby together, tied the knot on October 4, 2023.
On the work front, the actress was last seen in the hit series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, which was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and streamed on Netflix on May 1, 2024.
Ali Fazal on the other hand will be seen in Mirzapur season 3 which will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in July.
