LAHORE: Light rain has turned weather more cold in the environment in Lahore and chills in the air rose as the city experienced intermittent rain on Sunday night.
While Met officials expected similar weather patterns during the next 24 hours with prospects of heavy rain across the country. Met authorities added that a powerful western wave impacts the central and lower parts of the country and is likely to impact the upper parts for 12 to 18 hours.

Met department stated that in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, heavy rain with snowfall over the hills is expected while in isolated places in upper Sindh. During this time, heavy rainfall/snowfall is also expected in northern Balochistan.
Rains have also been reported in other Punjab cities like Kasur, Chishtian, Harunabad, Khanpur, Shangla Hill, Pir Mahal, Chunian, Pakpattan, Burewala, Khanewal, Bhakkar and others.
In the meantime, snowfall has attracted everyone to northern areas in mountainous areas. In Murree, visitors flooded and 4,5425 vehicles entered the city over the weekend.
