According to details, the intensity of the heat in Karachi started decreasing yesterday evening after sea breezes resumed. However, even after the light drizzle in several areas early this morning, clouds are still covering the sky.
The Meteorological Department stated that the weather in Karachi is cloudy, with intermittent drizzle occurring in Lyari, Mauripur Road, Clifton, and Baldia early in the morning, breaking the heatwave in the city.
The department also noted that sea breezes are active in the city, and the humidity level has reached 66%, making the weather humid. Light drizzle is expected in the early morning and nighttime hours over the next few days. The maximum temperature today could reach up to 35°C, as per the forecast.
Furthermore, the Meteorological Department reiterated that the humidity level in the city remains at 66%, contributing to the humid conditions, and the maximum temperature today is likely to reach 35°C.
Besides Karachi, heavy rainfall continues in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad. Due to water accumulation in various areas, residents are facing difficulties in commuting.
