LAHORE: A petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court to remove offensive content from the internet.
Lahore High Court on Monday ordered the FIA that if the agency has the power to file a complaint against Google, it should proceed. The action was taken over a petition filed in the LHC to remove offensive content from the internet.

The Chief Justice, in this regard, asked the lawyer whether there could be a leaflet against Google Authority. The LHC also summoned the DG FIA and other officers.
During the hearing, DG FIA and other officials appeared in Lahore High Court. The lawyer said that the FIA has to take action on removal of content, Chief Justice Lahore High Court while talking to the lawyer said that the matter is getting worse day by day, what will the FIA do if they spread insulting material in Pakistan from abroad, he asked. We are in the state of Madinah that we are not fulfilling our basic responsibilities. Remove offensive content, he remarked.
