LAHORE: Lahore High Court has granted interim bail to former law minister Rana Sanaullah till 20th March.
LHC Justice Ali Baqar Najafi conducted the hearing in which the judge granted him an interim bail and ordered to submit two surety bonds of Rs 5 lac each before his bail.
During the hearing, the counsel of Rana Sanaullah argued that whenever the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had probed his client, he was also showed his presence.
In a previous hearing, the court had ordered the bureau to file an official answer on the petition filed by Sanaullah against the NAB.
Sanaullah was arrested on 1st July by the ANF when he was traveling from Faisalabad to Lahore. According to an ANF spokesperson, a large number of drugs were recovered from the PML-N leader’s car.
