ISLAMABAD: The Lahore High Court has formed a Crisis Management Committee (CMC) in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
LHC Justice Mohammad Amir Bhatti has been appointed the focal person of the committee. After the approval of Chief Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan, the Registrar issued a notification regarding the CMC.
The committee has also appointed Justice Atar Mehmood, Justice Asjad Javed Gharl and Sessions Judge Lahore. DG District Judiciary has been appointed Secretary of the Crisis Management Committee.
According to the notification, the committee will ensure that the coronavirus is taken to protect the virus, the committee would take steps to create a safe environment for the Punjab courts.
Coronavirus cases were increasing in Pakistan and coronavirus has been confirmed in more than 500 people.
