KARACHI: Two lawyers have moved to the City Court police station in Karachi to register case into alleged leak video of Sindh’s former governor and PML-N leader, Muhammad Zubair Umar.
The lawyers have lodged a complain to register the case into the matter as the matter is highly sensitive and needs to be probed.
The obscene video was being shared on different social media platforms and WhatsApp groups showing Muhammad Zubair Umar with a woman.
However, the former governor has categorically denied the video and termed it to be a “new low in politics” along with claiming that the video is “fake and doctored”.
PML-N leader Mohammad Zubair denounced what he termed a “new low” in politics after the alleged video of him went viral. In a statement, the PML-N leader said, “This is no politics. In fact a new low.”
He said that the video was “fake and doctored”. Two days have been passed to the alleged leaked video of Zubair Umar, but yet, he has not contacted the FIA cyber crime wing to probe the issue as he termed the video doctored and fake.
Earlier, senior journalist Gharida Farooqui in her tweet had said, the former governor had termed the video fake and doctored and he is planing to approach the FIA cyber crime wing for the forensic of the video.
