A woman dressed in a burqa allegedly threatened Bollywood star Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan, invoking the name of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, in the Bandra area of Mumbai.
The incident occurred while Khan was returning from his morning walk at the Bandstand promenade.
According to reports, the suspects, a man and a burqa-clad woman, approached Salim Khan on a two-wheeler after making a U-turn. They stopped near him and asked, “Should we send Lawrence Bishnoi to you?” before quickly fleeing the scene.
During the investigation, the suspects admitted they were merely trying to play a prank on Khan. Police detained them for further questioning. The complaint was lodged by Salim Khan’s bodyguard at the Bandra police station, and a case was registered.
This incident follows an earlier attack on Salman Khan’s Bandra residence, allegedly orchestrated by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang.
