A slight increase in gold prices was recorded in Pakistan on Wednesday, reflecting a positive trend in the global market, as reported by national media.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs. 300, bringing the new price to Rs. 354,665 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs. 258, reaching Rs. 304,068.
It is worth noting that on Tuesday, the price of gold had dropped significantly by Rs. 3,800, bringing the per tola rate down to Rs. 354,365. A slight improvement was also observed in gold prices in the international market.
The international price of gold per ounce was recorded at 3,330 US dollars, which includes a $20 premium. However, a $3 decrease was noted by the end of the day, according to All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
On the other hand, a decrease was observed in silver prices. The price of silver per tola fell by Rs. 26, bringing it down to Rs. 3,764.
