Lahore police on Sunday night raided a dance party and arrested 39 young men and 18 young women and seized liquor. As per media reports, the party was held at a farmhouse.
Police sources confirmed that the dance party was held at the Green Orchard of the village Tera Pind in the Batapur area of the city.
Police sources further revealed that they received a phone call on Police Helpline 15 that a dance party was being held at a farmhouse in Green Orchard.
Soon after receiving the report, a police party was constituted that raided the farmhouse and arrested 39 men and 18 women on the spot.
A video of the party also surfaced on social media, which showed that the arrested women were being transferred to a police mobile van without any female police personnel.
Later, all the arrested women were shifted to the Women’s Police Station. The police team, after registering a case, started an investigation.
