KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday recorded a slight decline of 7.46 points after fluctuating on the fourth day of the business week.
The KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange closed at 44825.97 points. During the entire trading day, the stock traded down 0.02% while 113.658997 shares were traded.
The market after depreciating 7.46 points closed at 44,825.97 points.
On the other hand, the dollar appreciated for the fourth consecutive trading day across the country, further depreciating the rupee.
According to SBP data, the US dollar appreciated against the rupee for the third day in a row during the fourth trading day of the week at the Interbank Foreign Exchange.
The value of the US currency has risen by 27 paisa from 176 rupees to 22 paisa to 176 rupees to 49 paisa.
