The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has mandated summer breaks for all public and private educational institutions in the province in an effort to lessen the challenges experienced by students and staff due to the extreme heat.
The decision, which was announced by the KP Elementary and Secondary Education Department.
According to an official notification, primary schools falling under the summer zone will be closed from 1st June to 31st August. Similarly, middle, high schools and higher secondary schools in the summer zone will observe a closure starting from 15th June until 31st August. Additionally, primary, middle, high, and higher secondary schools situated in the winter zone will remain closed from 1st July to 31st July.
Students, instructors, and parents have generally expressed gratitude for the announcement. The intense heat that summer brings frequently makes it difficult for pupils to focus and has a negative impact on their general academic performance. The decision to allow summer vacations presents a chance for students all over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to take a well-earned rest, savouring the joys of the season while recharging their energies for the difficulties ahead.
