The rumour mills are buzzing since news started spreading of rapper Kanye West and supermodel Irina Shayk’s alleged relationship.
And while most fans are in absolute shock, West’s ex-wife and reality star Kim Kardashian is least bothered and unfazed by the new romance.
A source told the E! fashion magazine, “Kim has heard the rumors about Kanye and Irina Shayk and she doesn’t mind at all. If it doesn’t impact her kids, then she doesn’t mind if Kanye dates.”
It was reported that Shayk and West have been seeing each other the past few weeks, just as photos of them together in France during his birthday were published by a British tabloid.
“They have known each other professionally for years. He started pursuing her a few weeks ago. Kanye is a persuasive guy,” a source told the outlet. The two stayed at Villa La Coste for three nights and they hung out in New York before they celebrated his birthday in France.
The outlet reported Shayk smitten about West. “She seems smitten. He invited her to France and she happily accepted. They are not officially dating, but there is an interest from both sides.”
Another source added that there’s no awkwardness between Shayk and Kardashian: “Irina isn’t friends with Kim at all, so there’s no weirdness there.”
It was reported by multiple sources that West and Shayk really are dating: “Kanye and Irina are seeing each other,” Another said. “It’s casual at the moment, but they are into each other. It’s been going on for a few weeks now.”
Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February. They couple have four children together.
