LAHORE: The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has demanded immediate release of all party workers and children ‘abducted’ in police raids.

His statement came after reports that Police raided dozens of places in Islamabad and Lahore and picked up a number of people for unknown reasons. There has been no official word from both cities till the filing of this report.
PTI spokesperson said in a statement on Sunday night that the house of Senator Shibli Faraz, Chief of Staff of Imran Khan, was raided in Islamabad. Similarly, Islamabad police raided the house of PTI leader Anjum Tanoli in G-6 and, according to his family, police officials took Tanoli’s 10-year-old nephew with them.
Taking to Twitter late Sunday night, Imran Khan said “fascism at unprecedented levels with police in Islamabad raiding homes without warrants to abduct PTI workers. Where the worker is not present, children as young as 10 yrs are picked up.”
