ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to appoint Khalid Jawed Khan as a new attorney general of Pakistan.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Firdous Ashiq Awan on a social media website, Twitter said that the federal government made the decision for attorney general appointment after the resignation of Anwar Mansoor Khan.
She further said the supremacy of the Constitution and rulership of law are the top priorities of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) Anwar Mansoor Khan resigned from his post. He submitted his resignation letter to President Arif Alvi.
