MUMBAI: Horror-comedy ‘Phone Bhoot’, starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter, will be released in theaters on July 15 of next year, the filmmakers announced.
‘Phone Bhoot,’ directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath, is Excel Entertainment’s third film following ‘Gully Boy’ and ‘Toofaan.’

During the shoot, the actors appear to be having the time of their lives. Siddhant has posted several bloopers on his Instagram account and the caption for one of them reads, “Bloopers? More like ‘boo-pers’. Don’t blame us for the craziness. Ghouls just want to have fun.”
Besides this film, Kaif, 38, will be teaming up with Akhtar for his directorial venture a road trip movie named ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Alia Bhatt and the third part of ‘Tiger’ franchise.
Chaturvedi will be re-teaming with Excel Entertainment for romantic action-thriller ‘Yudhra’ and an untitled movie with filmmaker Shakun Batra in which he features alongside Deepika Padukone. Khatter’s next is war drama ‘Pippa’, helmed by director Raja Krishna Menon.
