Bollywood thriller film ‘The Buckingham Murders’ featuring Kareena Kapoor recently premiered at the prestigious BFI London Film Festival 2023.
The film, which marks the debut of Kareena Kapoor as a producer has been directed by Hansal Mehta. This will be Kareena’s return to the big screen after her outing in Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which had tanked at the box office.
The Buckingham Murders is an Indian crime thriller film that portrays Kapoor as a grieving British-Indian detective who is assigned the case of a murdered child in Buckinghamshire.
The Buckingham Murders had its world premiere at the 67th BFI London Film Festival on 14 October 2023. She was last seen in the Netflix thriller ‘Jaane Jaan’, which marked her digital debut. It has been directed by Sujoy Ghosh and also features Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat in pivotal roles.

Moreover, she is also a part of a female-centric venture featuring Bollywood divas Kriti Sanon and Tabu together in a frame.
Recently, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary. They tied the knot in 2012 after dating for several years. Saif was earlier married to actress Amrita Singh and they parted ways in 2004.
