Indian film director Karan Johar has shared a post celebrating five years of his iconic movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
Karan Johar while taking on his Instagram account, shares a beautiful throwback video celebrating one of the successful movies ADHM, he penned down a heartfelt note with a video, which reads, “Of love, friendship, heartbreak and everything in between! The power of ek tarfaa pyaar (one-sided love) grows stronger with all YOUR love and passion too”.

Moreover, Karan said that the story, album, and cast are so close to his heart, “A film, a story, an album, a cast & team that is close to my dil (heart emoji).” The masterpiece with a strong cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Aishwarya Rai was released back in 2016.
The plot of the movie revolved around romance, heartbreak, and friendship. ADHM also had special appearances with Shah Rukh Khan and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. Meanwhile, the outstanding soundtrack of the movie received four Filmfare awards. The film earned a gross of US$32 million worldwide and became a commercial success.
Though, before the release film had to face screening issues for casting a Pakistani actor ahead of nationwide protests in India, surrounding the Jammu and Kashmir attack.
