The owner of the shop Abdul Raheem said he worked at Dubai Airport, where people specially Arabs loved these waffles and one of his friends shared the recipe with him and after practicing a lot at home, he set up a waffles stand in Shah Faisal Colony.Â
We have introduced the sandwich waffles, hotdog waffles and bubble waffles in Karachi, the owner said and added he is the only one who is providing waffles in four different types in Karachi.
The man said despite the soaring prices of electricity, the rates of waffles he is providing are nominal, starting from Rs150, so people can afford them.Â
We have been getting good responses from the people since the start of the setup on August 21, Raheem said.
