A tragic and horrifying accident occurred near the RCD Ground on the road leading from Tanki Market in the Malir area of Karachi, where a speeding dumper ran over a motorcyclist.
According to details, the accident was so severe that, according to people present at the scene, it was initially impossible to identify the deceased. Eyewitnesses reported that the dumper hit the motorcyclist recklessly and negligently, killing him on the spot. Later, based on his identity card, the deceased was identified as Baqar Saeed.
After the incident, a large number of local residents gathered at the scene, leading to a traffic jam. The enraged citizens expressed strong anger against the dumper driver and demanded an immediate halt to the reckless driving of dumpers.
Residents stated that this was not the first incident; speeding and lawless dumpers continue to claim lives daily in Malir, Landhi, Korangi, and other parts of the city.
According to eyewitnesses, the dumper driver fled the scene after the accident, while the police arrived late. The citizens said that negligence by traffic police, the unchecked operation of heavy vehicles, and the presence of untrained drivers are the main causes of such tragic incidents.
