KARACHI: The Metropolis on Monday received its first winter drizzle on Monday amid light rainfall weather forecast by the Met Department.
A light drizzle was reported in various neighborhoods of the city, including II Chundriger Road, MA Jinnah Road, Saddar, and adjoining areas.
Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted that the country would see first spell of winter rains and snowfall from the past weekend.

According to Met Department, rain with wind and thunderstorm of light intensity, moderate rain at isolated places, in Karachi division and Jacobabad, Qambar-Shahdadkot, Dadu, Jamshoro, Naushehro Feroze, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, Shikarpur, Sukkur, Khairpur, Kashmore and Ghotki districts of Sindh was expected from the evening or night of 7th November to 8th November.
The official reported that a he westerly wave would enter the country on November 4 (evening/night) and persist till November 7.
The first rainfall of the winter will likely to bring day temperatures down by 2-4 degree Celsius in the province, according to the weather department.
