KARACHI: The district administration has allowed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a rally in Bagh-e-Jinnah today and banned former prime minister Imran Khan’s statements against state and religion.
PTI was issued by NOC Deputy Commissioner East for the meeting, conditional permission was issued by the administration under 20 conditions.
According to the administration, PTI will have to end with the meeting till 12 o’clock at night. There will be no speech against national ideology and religion in the public meeting meeting.
According to the administration, the use of weapons in the meeting are prohibited, the internal security of the meeting will be the responsibility of the organizers.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan will arrive in Karachi at 4 pm today for the public meeting. From the airport he will go to the residence of former Sindh Governor Imran Ismail after which he will attend a fundraising Iftar dinner for Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital Karachi and deliver a short speech.
After the fund raising ceremony, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will leave for Bagh-e-Jinnah to attend the meeting. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan will stay in Karachi on the night of April 16 and will leave for Islamabad on April 17.
