KARACHI: Sindh’s security agencies today (Monday) have arrested an Additional Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the Karachi police over allegations of having links with Indian intelligence, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
According to the provided details, the security agencies caught ASI Shehzad Pervez from the Gulistan e Jauhar area of Karachi. The police officer was currently performing his duties in Shahr-e-Faisal police station.
According to a police official, the security agencies have recovered two hand-grenades from the residence of the accused person.
The police official further revealed that the ASI was involved in terrorism activities in the country and was also an active member of MQM-London.
The arrested ASI is being claimed as an important member of the notorious ‘Mehmood Siddiqui Group’ which is touted to have strong connections with Indian spying agency, RAW.
