KARACHI: To control crime and improve the law and order situation in Karachi, City Police Chief Javed Alam Odho has launched a mobile app called “Police 15 Karachi.”
Speaking at a media briefing at the Airport Police Station, he explained that the app was introduced to leverage technology for the convenience of citizens. He emphasized that the most effective way to reach the public is through the 15 emergency helpline, which will continue to be available via telephone. However, with this app, citizens won’t need to relay their location to the police, as it will enable a rapid police response.
Odho noted that downloading the app would ensure timely assistance for citizens.
The app, developed for the Android platform, can be found by searching “Police 15 Karachi” in the Play Store. Registration is required only once, and users need to click just one button without dialing Madadgar-15. The app can be downloaded via the Play Store link:
