Karachi, the largest city in Pakistan, and a number of areas in Sindh will get brief showers in the upcoming days, breaking the week-long hot and humid season.
Pakistan Meteorological Department has announced that another round of monsoon rains is expected to begin in multiple parts of the country from Wednesday.
In a fresh weather advisory, Pakistan Meteorological Department predicted rainfall that will hit Karachi, bringing relief to the residents of port city.
The current humidity rate of the Sindh capital stands at over 70 percent and the temperature of over 36 degrees worsens the situation.
The Met office said that temperature in Karachi is expected to remain between 29 and 38 degree celsius.
Winds are expected to blow at 18km/h in a south to west direction while humidity will remain 72%.
Under the influence of the prevailing weather conditions, rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Tharparkar, Mithi, Padidan, Umarkot, Sanghar, Mirpur Khas, Hyderabad, Karachi, Thatta and surrounding areas.
Met Office also warned of the new spell of monsoon rains which could batter several cities in Punjab, KP, and Balochistan starting today until July 17.
A new weather system originating from the Arabian Sea will penetrate the country from the evening of July 12 and will impact the upper and central regions.
