A tragic traffic accident in Karachi claimed the lives of an industrialist and his son on Monday, when a trailer struck their car, causing it to fall off the ICI Bridge after colliding with a rickshaw and a motorcycle.
According to DIG-South Syed Asad Raza, the incident occurred while 64-year-old Ashraf Adamani and his two sons, Naveed and Usman, were en route to their industry in the SITE area from their home in DHA. A recklessly driven trailer (SMA-129) crashed into their vehicle from behind on the ICI Bridge.
The impact caused their car to spin out of control, hitting a rickshaw and a motorcycle before plummeting off the bridge. Unfortunately, Ashraf and Naveed died on the spot, while Usman sustained serious injuries.

Rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene, recovering the bodies and the injured individual. They were taken to Dr. Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi.
The driver of the trailer fled the scene, abandoning the heavy vehicle, which was later impounded by Docks police.
